Hi,
I am about to take on a project and I need some advice whether it is easier to develop a gallery for a page using css or zen cart software.
Its going to be a simple 3x3 or 4x4 image layout showcasing a thumbnail image, the title and possibly an enquiry link. When the image or the title of that image is clicked a new page opens up.
I have provided an example of the layout for the thumbnails and how it should look like:

Now, is it easier or I should be saying cheaper to develop this in css/xhtml using a static page approach - providing this will have future updates?
or is it easier to create this using zen cart or possibly similar shopping cart software? if so i guess this would be a dynamic page and would be controlled using a database. Would this be easier in the long run for mainenance or would also cost $$ to develop and combine it into a static css/xhtml webpage?
or possibly some other database driven method?
It needs to be easy and quick to update the images and titles for the future.
Any suggestions are welcome, thanks :)
