i wanted to know how to put movies in avi or mpg format into flash or html or w/e. i just want a certain movie file to be displayed on my page...anyone know how to do this?

use object tag and enclose embed tag with in it to put a movie clip in IE and NS browsers

ok say, for example, i have a movie file called "movie.mpeg"...what is the HTML code to make it display on the page?

go into flash>FILE>Import>Browse>(find it, then import)
When the popup box asks you if you want to incert the frames to make the FLASH movie big enough to support the IMPORTED MPG say yes, then test the movie and see if it works. you can resize it to whatever you want. just use the SCALE feature. Also: Once you have it the size you want, make the background of the movie the same size so it displays right when you put it into the html.
