Full Screen

I want to give the users the oppertunity to go full screen with their browser I know this can be done in Firefox and IE with a press of the f11 button but is there a way that I can have the user click a button rather than tell them to press the f11 button? Also can this be done in the other browsers? Opera, Chrome, Safari?

No. That is a function of the browser that has no in web page equivalent. (it used to have with early browsers that could only display one web page at a time but now browsers can display dozens of pages all at the same time there is no facility for any one of those pages to affect how the browser looks).

Why is it that when you press the f11 button it can go full screen with multiple tabs open?
