Is that "the" logo or one you made for this site? Can it be changed?
If it is the logo and it cannot be changed, I would say it wouuld have to be in the upper right of the page. You would then have to "build" with it there.
The reason I say that is because f the text "Bud Shannon/Photography Inc." and "Conventional & igital Imaging" is aligned right in the logo. If you could align it left, it could go to the left side of the page. If you could align them center it might be able to be in the center.
Right off those are the options I see.

I like version 3.0. The added background graphic really adds to the feel of the page.
To address your question; I don't think you can move the logo to the top and make it look good. It's too big for the page. The plane images across the top would have to go down the side.
If you can reduce the size of the logo & change to a transparent background, I think it would work OK at the top, although you'd probably need to eliminate one of the plane images and change the logo color from brown to black. This all assumes that you keep the textured metal background graphic at the top. I agree with MNS that it should be on the right.
I'd widen the content table, unless you are keeping space open down the side for nav buttons, or something. Or center the page content. Somehow, that space on the side looks wrong.
My 2cts.

That looks ok. I would change the text back to the maroon color and ad the original text you had in the logo as a "subtitle' under BSP&Associates.

Is that maroon? It looks almost brown on my system. If it's maroon, I'd probably go along with MNS's suggestion to change the color back. Maroon works well with gray/silver. I'd agree about adding the text back, too.
Two suggestions re: the logo.
1. Move it to the right side. You've got 2 instances of BSP & Associates together.
2. Move the text to the bottom, rather than vertically centered.
