Ok, so I uncovered a Flash/XML photo gallery somewhere on my hard drive and wanted to post it on my blog. I'm not sure I even made it, but I think I did. It works a treat on my hard drive, gathering the picture information from an XML file, and outputting the result in the gallery. There are no transitions, it just flicks from image to image.

However, when uploaded to the server, the images do not load, even though the path is correct, until you actually visit the image files in your browser.

^ That is the example. You should see no images.

^ Now visit here, and then visit the above link. The first image should load.

It loads, but then disappears again. It's really weird. I'm assuming there's something wrong with the AS in the FLA file. Can anyone work out the problem from the attached file?

Thanks,
Marc

P.S There is a code at the bottom for a mouse trail but I have not put any text in so it does not show.

I see a working slide show in the first link and a Web site without the requested photo in the second link so I don't know what to make of it. The slide show has a clicking sound going on...like it's expecting to click through the photos at a set time.
As for fixing the problem... we're here to HELP... not do all the work.
Hey..I don't even see a .fla file (in the zip) to look at.. what's up with that??
However.. best wishes to you on this project,
EfV

Sorry about that.

1) The clicking sound is when you hover over one of the arrows.

2) Wrong ZIP file attached - see this post.

3) Requested Photo. Hmm...I've discovered it's something to do with the addon domain. See the requested photo link, now navigate to the directory the photo is supposed to be in. You'll see that it is in fact listed there. My addon domain "thewebdesignblog.net" points to the subdomain "blog.mjsolutions.net". If you simply change it to that, the image loads fine. Very strange.

Sorry about all that, FLA is now in this zip file (there doesn't seem to be an edit button on the first post :S)

From what I see in IE7 and FF, gallery works just fine. All images show as soon as first link is clicked...and nothing disappears.
