Hello, need help from those who know about memory cards. Looked around hard online and its not helping so why I came here to try to find some help. My situation is I need to know if there is any way to save documents from a computer to a memory card of some kind and if so how it is done? To save from a desktop not a laptop.

There is a printer in a separate building that can print from memory cards and prints really good and how I need it. I'm hoping to save some items from my computer then print them out on this printer elsewhere. The printer is not hooked up to any computer and cannot be that is why I need to know if it can be done this way. Also I cannot move this printer to my own computer.
So I'm in a real spot. A memory card situation would solve all of this if a computer can be saved to any.

Here are the kind of memory cards the printer allows if it helps to know:
CompactFlash, Microdrive, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, SD Memory Card, MultiMedia Card, MultiMedia Card Plus, SDHC Memory Card, xD-PictureCard (with adapter), xD-PictureCard Type M (with adapter), xD-PictureCard Type H (with adapter), Memory Stick Duo (with adapter), Memory Stick PRO Duo (with adapter), Memory Stick Micro (with adapter), RS-MMC (with adapter), miniSD Card (with adapter), microSD Card (with adapter), miniSDHC Card (with adapter), microSDHC Card (with adapter)

Please let me know if any of the just above options can save things from a computer somehow will really appreciate it. Thank you very much for your help.

Any type of memory card will do. I've used ones out of my digital camera before to transfer documents.

Thank you very much is real good news. So you can save to a memory card as well from a desktop? Not just load into a computer? That would be great. If so any that work well or are more popular saving from a computer? Please let me know thank you very much for your help.

If you can connect a memory card/flash drive/thumb drive/ etc. to your computer (laptop or desktop), you can transfer data back and forth between the device and your computer.

If you use a memory card, you will need a memory card reader.. If you don't have one, you will be better off using a USB flash drive (unless of course the device you are planning on transferring the files to only has a memory card reader)
