BG music

Hello there, I have a problem, I have this script here that selects a music to play between varius .midi files.
I have uploaded the file on my server so you can get it:

The problem is that i want to convert this script so when you select a song from the list it will become the backgrownd song. If possible, I would like it to start playing without pressing any "start" or "play" button, just by selectin it from the list.

thanks guys but actually this was not what I was asking for.
in BestZest's example when you press play a new page comes out with a player ans starts playing the music. what i need is when you select a song, this song becomes automatically the back ground song. hope you can help me on that as well,
