I am having a devil of a time with something so...
I made a graphic in PhotoShop, basically it is a "box" with a border and some other minor decorations that I planned to use as a border for a menu on a site.
So after it was completed I brought the image into ImageReady and made my slices, I was careful to rename the slices in the areas that I would later use to put text in so I can delete them when they are in DreamWeaver...so far so good, right?
HA!!!!! That's what I thought too...I did the "Save Optimized As.." thingee and made sure I had the "Export Slices" and the "HTML and Sices" option selected and exported it...I then went to my folder that my site was in..located the slices I don't want and deleted them.
I opened up the HTML in DreamWeaver and everything looked okay but I wanted to change the BG color so I just manually changed it to Black or #000000..and suddenly my graphic ended up getting fragmented..parts were missing..and those were slices I had left behind.
I tried manually erasing references to the now missing slices but still there is no improvement...what did I do wrong?
