I am very new to ASP I am a non linux user......I created my site in notepad with html code. I sell designs for the comuterized embroidery machine I already have paypal shopping cart in place and have been sending computerized embroidery designs via e-mail once paypal alerts me of purchase. I would like my customers to purchase and download immediately. Can someone tell me the script to do this or if its even possible. I am a fast learner.

you probably need a shopping cart program.
if you want your customers to purchase from your site, how do you plan on getting them to pay you?

Thanks for your reply.
I am already receiving payments via paypal shopping cart....I am e-mailing the designs once payment is received..but would like to have the customer download after purchasing as opposed to me e-mailing their designs.

My suggestion:
Store your designs file in the directory under your virtual directory.
Create payment receive confirmation page once your customers pay for it. Place a link to the design file on this confirmation page. Are you using the database for this operation?

>>>Thanks friend for your reply....I am so clueless I can't even intellegently answer your question I was thinking..maybe there is a script i could insert into the paypal shopping cart code. Can you give me a basic script for creating payment receive confirmation page...? Can you give me a link to read about virtual directories..? I realize I need to do more resarch...Just don't know where to go to learn more...I cannot afford to pay anyone to do this for me so I must, and am most willing to learn how to do it myself...
