Hiding name files from address bar

Hi there,

I have seen some web sites in which whatever link I press (Home, About us, Contact us)... in the address bar appears only... www.domain.com

My question is:

If this is possible, how can I do that?

That's really bad for people who want to use your site, since it prevents people from being able to bookmark a page, and more often than not it relies on technologies that you cannot be sure will be compatable with all browser.

The most supported technique is frames, but frames are evil and will only really increase the size of your pages without any benefits.
The alternative is AJAX, which uses javascript and is disabled by about 10% of visitors and may or may not be picked up on by search engines.

AJAX is even more evil than frames. And with frames your users quickly figure out how to right click and select "View only thins frame."
