hi, when attempting to access a web page with a password, the entry is not recognized (the page will not change), in another the error meesage for bad password shows up (password is correct). When the page is clicked the java script message is in the lower left corner. This all occurred afte the installation of Norton internet security.

Can anyone guide me to solution?

You may have Javascript disabled in your browser. Assuming it is IE, you can enable it by clicking Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level, then scrolling down and enabling all the options in the 'Scripting' category.

If that doesn't work, try reinstalling your browser, or better still install a better browser like Mozilla (http://www.mozilla.org).
