Thanks. dragle 10-27-2003, 09:47 AM Hi, For HierMenus licensing information, please contact John Maher at (203) 662-2889 or E-mail: hiermenus1@jupitermedia.com. Cheers! Xin 10-27-2003, 12:22 PM well please forgive me for some advertisement : ) but you might want to take a look at an alternative which is as good as the HM menu and even better when it comes to cross-frame support: http://www.yxscripts.com/menuG4/index.html with menuG4, you can : - hard-code a static menu content, or generate dynamic contents on-the-fly and then build a menu on it - position your menu with some absolute coordinates, against some relative place holder, or with some pre-defined spots (say the top-right browser corner) - show your menu vertically or horizontally and fly-out the sub-menus to any direction - scroll-into-view the long menus - apply special styles to some menu items (item-level styling) - use images as menu items, and use image icons in menu items - use background images for menu items - have more styles on menu and item borders: solid, outset and inset for cross-frame menus, you can also : - split the menu into two frames (well, the script does that for you actually, you just need to place a js call in the nav-frame page to tell the script to show the top-level menu there) or use some links in one frame to trigger the menus in another frame - show the sub-menus in dynamic content-frames (say you have the top-menu in top-frame and sub-menus in bottom-frame, and later you load another frameset into the bottom-frame and still want the sub-menus show up in a new content-frame) and it's free and all i ask is just a link back to my site : ) plus, menuG5 is coming out, which let's you use external CSS for menu styling. thanks, Xin 10-27-2003, 12:29 PM forgot to mention that, you also get a menu editor to compose the menu content and menu style, and preview it. cheers, webdeveloper.com
