Hi

Quick question regarding GIF's which I have made up using Adobe Fireworks. I wish to make amendments to these files but unfortunately for me I have lost the original PNG files they were created from.

Is it possible to revert these files back so I can edit them again within Fireworks?

Any advice appreciated.

Michael

I can't think of any reason why you can't edit the GIF files with your image program.

I agree. This should be possible.

If you mean can you open the "animated .gif" and re-edit, I would have to disagree. Just tried a couple and found that both had all layers flattened during the export or create process.
If you have a "pre-exported" Fireworks file (not the .gif version), sure, then just open that up and edit away!
