Hi there,

I am trying to better monetize my site and I think one of the best ways is to get people to keep coming back.

Looking for suggestions to improve the sticky factor of the site.

I searched a few keywords and got bupkis. It will help if a search response is available for any keyword.

Thanks for having a look and for the feedback.

I made some changes. Please see if this matches what you were looking for.

Amaizing! Do you track search results and queries?

Actually of course you do. But the question is do you thing you can attract people just by doing google searches?

Yeah I track the results but it is more than just Google searches. I use Google as the default for now but also have the option for people to compare results side by side as well as submit their own recommendation for sites that relate to their search. Once more of that data is available I have plans for that too.

I am looking for feedback and suggestions to attract more users though. Currently I am between 500 - 600 unique per day but of course would like more.

Maybe a news portal on the front page? Hot topics, web page archive, chat? I dont know what people would like see.

It's an interesting concept, but maybe make the results look a little better. Rather than a simple side by side, why not give them expanding/contracting regions so they can check results from 4 or 5 sources.

Rather than crowding the homepage with stuff that people can get anywhere, speak to what makes your site different (comparitive searching). Ideally, you want people to use your comparitive search as their searching default, so think about what things other people want on their default page. Maybe make it customizable as to what their default search engines are and it only shows links to those results. Maybe store some bookmarks. You could also let them use their bookmarks to create comparison pages.
