Hi all!

Anyone of you know how to create small text or font but look very easy to read on all browsers?

When I am using either photoshop CS3 or illustrator CS3, my text just does not look very crispy. They look very blurry or distorted. I am using font size of 9px for my GIF buttons.

Thanks!!!

You might want to post one so we can see it. Typically if you check the "anti alias" box, that will generate smoother fonts, but that could be what you're calling "blurry", whereas if you do not check that box, the fonts will be sharper, but have jaggies. Also I've found certain browsers renger png files much nicer than gif of jpeg for these types of things.

I've found that when converting text into images the results are much better (using Illustrator) when you convert all the type to outlines before you save as the image. Type comes out crisp and clear. Of course, that assumes you have the image dimensions set when you save and are not resizing later to mess things up.
