Can Flash MX do this?

Hello
I have created a slideshow of images using IView, and saved it as an .exe. I will then place this on a cd, and give it to people to look at.
Can i use flash to make a menu so they can click play, and it opens of the cd and plays the slideshow in a new window?
And if so how? ( i can already make buttons, but dont know how to make them play an external file not in the movie.

u can run the exe that is on the cd using a menu in flash that is running from the same place wher e the exe is!
its another window then flash beacuse exe run's in its own "window"
