Hi there,

I am a little confused. I am getting some pages created with Dreamweaver and the text is actual Mandarin characters... I need it to be in some sort of markup - xml would be great, you know 𹀌 type stuff. Is there some way to convert this? Is there some way I tell the highly nontechnical people in china how to save it like that?

Sorry if I sound bungling... My boss just said "do this thing..." and I have limited experience in this sort of stuff not to mention that the people over in china don't know, don't care... so I need to be very precise when I say do this, then this... blah, blah...

I'm not exactly clear about what it is that you are trying to accomplish. Are you trying to display Mandarin characters? Are you trying to manipulate a document that currently displays Mandarin characters? And a link to the page would help.

However, if you are working with Dreamweaver you would do well to post this question in the Dreamweaver forum. This is the HTML forum.
