counting the number of <tr> in a table

i have a dynamiclly made table with xsl!
i want to know ow many <tr> i have in the table!
each tr has and id="tr1" and so on.....

is there a way o know how many total <tr> i have in the table>??

var oTable = document.getElementById('myTable');

// get a nodelist of <tr> elements
var aTR = oTable.getElementsByTagName('tr');

// and the number is...
var n = aTR.length;
