New Site: Vintage Tee Shirt.com - Please review

I found this domain and figured I would take a crack at a tee shirt site because it's fun. I like to draw and do artwork in my spare time... which is not very spare these days.

If the main page looks too mundane and pedestrian, go over and look at the offensive tees.

I built the first page using a javascript mouseover image expander like the one that they use over at iStockPhoto.com, but it kept on crashing and would open four mouseovers at once that wouldn't close... so I killed the Ajax script that was doing it and just put up the simplest thing possible in CSS. Nothing fancy, but it is VERY small and works.

I decided not to go through the trouble with the internal pages and put up a bunch of shirts via cafepress for now and my wife is working on replacing them. At the rate she's going, we should have our own collection up sometime in the next millenium. :D

Anyway, it is a fun site.
Suggestions, accolades, advice, insults, vicious denigrating aspersions are all appreciated and heeded. :)

I think the template you chose looks good. I would remove the header link to http://www.free****************.com. The search functionality would be better if it actually searched your site. I tried it and it just took me to cafepress.com. It'll be better once you lose the cafepress stuff. The shopping cart experience needs work, but I guess is ok for starters while your wife finishes it. Good Luck!

I like the idea, that is good. The header with the people is also great. I would change the layout to take advantage of the empty space on the left and right. I think the blue nav menu is too blue, make it less agressive.

It's a good T-Shirt shop!! But it don't sell anything. User is redirected to other site for buying.
