Hello!

I am totally new in websites etc, and so looking forward to your comments!

I am a student, and made Student Travel Forum, http://studentravel.**********.net for other students to exchange information on upcoming educational programs worldwide, youth mobility organisations, to share travel experiences on worldwide destinations and also there is place for relevant offers/requests and promoting personal webspaces!

For some topics (where you can find the upcoming educational programs and organizations) the registration is obligatory in order to view the content (not sure if that's a good idea though)

Anyway, thank you in advance for your comments! :)

Hello again...

As I am wondering about the amount of links that my forum should have, is it possible that someone gives me some guidance on this subject?
As I have too many links to other sites, to make it easier for the user to go there, could this be harmful for the forum?

Thanks

Hello, in regards to your last post.

In a general website standpoint NO. there is no such thing as too many links. BUT there are exceptions. ie: the layout and organization of the links.

In a Marketing standpoint, linking to websites with a high pagerank will help you out on many search engines. But it also hinders you if you link to poor websites with a bad or no page rank.

You should always be courteous to your visitors. Make sure everything is accessible and easily understandable. Your website could use a little more oganization. I would recommend switching to MYBB or vBulletin for your forums. I would not use IPB as it is worth nothing anymore now that other forums now have farther advanced features unlike IPB.

But anyway, good luck on your venture.
