mySQL help! Forcing close of threat 603

Hey, today at 9:11am my site stopped working. Only Apache was working because pages that doesnt connect to the database loads up quickly.

I am using Windows 2003 server. This is the error I got.

C:\xampp\mysql\bin\mysqld-nt.exe: Forcing close of thread 603 user: 'root'
C:\xampp\mysql\bin\mysqld-nt.exe: Forcing close of thread 603 user: 'root'
C:\xampp\mysql\bin\mysqld-nt.exe: Forcing close of thread 603 user: 'root'

I think that is what prevented mysql from working.. All I did to fix the problem was restarted the mysql service.

Any help?

check your log directory for any and all messages relating to it.
