How to retrieve image that was overwritten

I uploaded some files and accidently overwrote my header image. I tried to find another copy of it on my computer, and on the server. Then I tried to find it using the Firefox temp files using the about:cache command. It brought up the new image. I also tried googling it and bringing up the cached page. It still shows the new image. Is there any other way to find this image or get it back other than asking the hosting company to roll the site back?
