Getting mail off browser page

Any way to bring up Outlook mail from IE Browser? If I get on the web page I want it to execute the local outlook.exe so user can just click on a button or link on the web page and bring up their mail outlook on their NT workstation.

IE does have a toolbar button to do this but I want to create my own link or button on the actual web page.

Please advise.

hmm.... You can't actually open the program, but you could just have a mailto and it would pop up a new message. I don't know if that will work for you or not, but you can't open Outlook.
