scrolling menu

im after a menu that changes text. its pretty smiple, and i assume thered be an array in there somewhere, but even simple is tough for me so i have absolutely no i dea where to start heres the general thing im after:

looks like this at first:
<< option >>

when u click the chevrons on one side the text changes:

<< option2 >>

so u kinda scroll thru the potions one by one usin the chevrons.
