Hey guys!

I'm making a website for my band, and I want to include these 'widgets' from the site ReverbNation (http://www.reverbnation.com/controller/widget_code/blog_fan_collector_popup/artist_139347).

One of the widgets I want to use looks like this:

<embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://cache.reverbnation.com/widgets/swf/30/fancollector.swf?page_object_id=artist_139347&backgroundcolor=1b1b1b&font_color=ffffff&posted_by=artist_139347" height="169" width="169" align="middle" />
<img style="visibility:hidden;width:0px;height:0px;" border=0 width=0 height=0 src="http://www.reverbnation.com/widgets/trk/30/artist_139347/artist_139347/t.gif" alt="" />
<img style="visibility:hidden;width:0px;height:0px;" border=0 width=0 height=0 src="http://counters.gigya.com/wildfire/IMP/CXNID=2000002.0NXC/bT*xJmx*PTEyMzYyNjYxNzE4NDUmcHQ9MTIzNjI2NjE3NTUyOSZwPTI3MDgxJmQ9ZmFuX2NvbGxlY3Rvcl9maXJzdF9nZW4mZz*x JnQ9Jm89MzFiMGI5NzdkODI*NDA1NDk3MzY4OWU4Zjg5NDU3NDU=.gif" alt="" />

Very messy - I know!

Ok, I can just slap that code in on the website and it works fine, but it dosen't feel 'clean', ya know?

Also, it comes up with a load of errors when trying to validate it.

Anyone know how I can embed this widget (or swf) cleanly and properly?

Lots of validation issues with the code but I think you'll have to take that up with ReverbNation. It's their widget and not just a simple .swf. To test that, clear out your Temp Internet cache and download the .swf. Copy it and try to run it... it's not just a simple copy/paste of the .swf ... don't work so good...
Ooorrrrr.. create your own and control all the aspects..
Best wishes,
