Eye for Video 03-12-2009, 07:29 PM Well yes... sort of.. How you do it will depend a little on how you want to control the start/stop, the dimensions of each Flash, whether the Flash you are talking about is a .swf or a .flv, and whether or not you have access to or can create anything in Flash. When you say "without access to the source codes " are you talking about the actionscript inside the .swf or what? But let's just say you have 2 separate swf files. You could create another .swf which would first load swf1 and after it plays load swf2. What software resources do you have to work with? EfV bingecoder 03-13-2009, 06:58 AM I have only got SwishMax Eye for Video 03-14-2009, 12:10 AM Sorry but I don't have any experience with SwishMax but I'll describe the simplest, non coding way to join 2 swfs in Flash and hopefully you can translate. From a simple Google image it looks like SwishMax has a main timeline and other similarities to Flash. So here goes. The idea is to import into your Library, swf1 and swf2 and just play one right after the other. But first you must determine the frame count of each. So first open a new doc. Hopefully you know the dimensions of the swf.. correct? Set the dimension of the new doc to match swf1. Import swf1 to library, and place in frame 1. Estimate the number of frames by number of seconds X 12fps, or 15fps, or 20fps. Then create a new keyframe at that frame. Draw a big red circle or something and then test your movie. If all of swf1 plays and then a big red circle shows, you have the correct frame count. If the entire swf does not play before the circle, go back and stick in more frames B4 circle. If the entire swf plays and then starts over and plays some more... delete some frames. Get exact frame count for each swf. Then create a new doc, import both to Library, place swf1 in frame 1, stretch out to exact frame count, then place swf 2 and extent to exact frame count. This method is not very neat, but no coding is required... swf1 plays then swf2.
