Hey folks.

I'm fairly new to this, I've been doodling with HTML for years, and am only just recently taking it seriously and going to school for it and all.

I've done one official website before as a portfolio, and got some referrals and beers out of it...but now I'm being asked to do another one.

What is a good asking price for someone in my position? Again, I have only basic skills right now - which are all the skills that this persons website is calling for -

Do you know of any kind of website that offers a breakdown of typoically what services cost? Example - Search Engine Optimization, Design only, etc...

Thank you in advance...

You are unlikely to find an answer on these forums, talking about pricing is generally considered against the rules, over concerns of price fixing.

Having said that, find what the employer will pay, explain your situation and talk to them, arrange an amount you can both agree on.

Pricing discussions are not permitted. Sorry.
