Hello everyone,

I'm trying to make my own website i've started my own online shop i have all the suppliers but all i need now is a website up ans running, i've been using php nuke but i can get like 2-3 click then i get this message "Sorry, too many page loads in so little time!" and frankly its getting my on wick. Is there any other program like that or can i make a website using one of the many free templates out there and just add rowman cart to it?

you see the problem i find with website making is that i really suck at the design side of this i've made about 4-5 in dreamweaver and all of them i hated the look of. If people are going to buy from me it has to look right, thats where i come unstuck :(

and also can i use these free templates with dreamweaver?

Many thanks
Rob

Although I'm not too happy with their marketing techniques, BlueVoda (http://www.bluevoda.com/) does offer a "free" Visual Editor that is really, really good for making a website. It does have all the tools for inserting PayPal and other eCommerce code. They offer some free software along with the editor as well as plenty of free online video tutorials.

The reason I'm not too happy, is that you must have a site hosted with them as their Publish function is tied into their servers only and the pages you make are in a proprietary format (*.bvh) until they past through their servers.

I would really like to see this editor available without hosting requirements as it has some great tools. Unfortunately, I host elsewhere already and do all my coding by hand. You might like to check it out, but be sure to go through their Knowledge Base as well as all the ad stuff.

Hmm, as said above try osCommerce, maybe magneto or cubecart....anything like that, theyre all open source so you wont have to pay a dime, but a little technical knowledge would be handy.

However if you -------------------------t. :)
