What do you mean by "Hit Counter"?
Like: when the user get into the website he can see how much times he clicked on a links or when the visiotor get into the website he can see how much times all the visiotors clicked?

i need a counter that would display the number of people who has viewed my website, and please it has to be in javascript

It's can't be done with only JS...
You HAVE to use here in server-side language. (or you can use a service on-line, like StarCounter (http://www.statcounter.com/))
