The wordpress theme are also designed and coded by myself alone.

All the content, everything is also by me. What'd you say that I can improve?:rolleyes:

Couple of tiny things that would annoy me:

The list of categories is huge, is there any way to reduce that?
I also don't like the white box around the tweet this and download PDF icons, they would look much better if you didn't have a box around them that just wasted space.
A bit of your text isn't visible on the right hand side because of your background image, have you considered making a background over these elements with a transparent background like the google search box has? It would improve readability.
And I would like to add that you have way too many new stories on the front page, the front page shouldn't contain links to everything, it should provide the most intresting things to most users, and easily found links to everything else(which all of my comments so far have been about :p).

Another tiny issue(separate from the rest since this just irks me and probably no-one else in the history of the internet) is the copyright notice isn't centred, and really should include the full word copyrighted, the © symbol does mean copyrighted, but only in the mind of people, not in the law, best to just cover your bases for all eventualities.

Looks good!
But I can perform search only by clicking Enter button. You should implement any Search button near the Search field.
