Above you have the word table inserted before border. I think this should be taken out.

You also don't have any </center> tags, and there is some coding in the head section. That's all I can suggest right now. I am still working on it.

save it as a .htm and open in browser, the space is between the blue h-line and the border of the table.

You have two line breaks outside of the table cell, which IE is not supposed to be a part of the table and moves it just above the table. There is another spot in your page that does the same thing. The is also just generally filled with errors. Read http://www.w3.org/TR/html401/ for information regarding HTML, and then always pass your pages through the validator http://validator.w3.org/

I was weeding through the code and found numerous errors like Jeff said. Some other things to think about. Name HTML pages with all lower case names. Don't have names, for pages and images, that have spaces in them. Either have tags names in all upper case, or in all lower case. I'm not 100% what a <h> tag does, but I didn't notice a difference when I removed them. My book pointed to <hr> tags when I tried to reference the <h> tag. Your colored <hr> tag isn't colored in Netscape. Netscape doesn't handle the color attribute for the <hr> tag. Spend some time learning CSS. http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-CSS2/ I was getting rid of a good amount of your code by just adding some CSS.

First, the problem had already been identified and a fix given so I'm not sure why you felt you had to do it again.
Second, the "I fixed it, here ya go" tells the original poster nothing of the cause or solution. So they have no idea what they did wrong or how to correct it in the future.
And third, if you're going to redo the page, you should at least make it valid code.

I didn't think so. rel started another thread.
Well I spent quite a bit of time trying to solve the problem. It was in the way the tables were made, and some of the code outside it.
To me the easiest way to solve it was to make new tables, and insert the existing code in them.
I tried to send it as an attachment but it didn't go through so I posted the code.
Sorry if I made you upset. That was not intended, my concern was to help not hinder.
The only code that I did was the table. it is a three column six row table, the first row is three columns wide. All the rest is rel's. I wanted to make as simple as possible, and it works. rel can do the finishing touches.

Thanks to all for the help.
My problem is fixed and I appreciate it . I wrote it all with code, no generators, Front Page etc, I am a newbie to this and I am sure I will find more errors.
