Hi!,
I'm a final year student and I need to set up a voicexml application(the usual interacting with a database!).
The problem is I don't know exactly what I need - I looked at IBM's Voice Server SDK and freaked when I saw the requirements. Basically what I'm looking for is something that will run on a Linux server so that when I upload my files to it I can test them using my browser(cutting out the cost of phone calls!) Is this possible? Can I just have something sitting on the Linux server which will take care of everything or do I need some thing more?
I don't mind using Java or C++ to generate the vxml document but I'm thinking of using Java Servlets to generate a web application that displays stats generated from the database(If i use C++ will I need another web server to handle this end?)
Thanks in advance!
