Hi there...i have created a Flash Banner in Adove Flash CS4 and i need to make it 50kB for google adwords... its currently at 57kB - how do i change the size??? i dont see the option in Adobe

It's not going to be a compression option like you might see for "optimizing" images, but rather a resizing of the assets used in the .fla before compiling the .swf.
So make sure that everything you import to your library, especially bitmap images are resized outside of Flash to just the exact dimensions used in Flash. So for example, if you are using a 100 X 100 px image of a car in your flash banner, don't import a 200 X 200 px image and then shrink it down in Flash, because it still carries the larger image in the file. Review all other assets also, never resize anything in Flash, do it before you import them. The vector images created in Flash will be much smaller and are not usually the problems... it's the photo images.
If you still cannot get under the 50kb, and you are using images, then set the image compression higher, more compression, smaller file.
If the entire banner is vector objects, use instances of the same object whenever possible instead of creating multiple objects.
