If you want to learn code to build a website start with (X)Html and CSS as these are the basic stuff you will need to learn.. If you are looking to have one build there are many web developers out there on the web and probably in your local town/ city that can help you. But this will cost you money. So the choice depends on which way you want to go.. Hope this helps if you need more advise let me know.. Tom xvszero 03-30-2009, 11:34 AM I think the first question to ask yourself is do you want to pay for a site or get a free one (which is generally pasted with ads.) It usually costs about $70 a year to have a site, maybe more depending on what features you need. Then you have to ask what am I trying to accomplish with this site? If it is for a business, I'd pay decent money to get it done right. If it's just for fun / personal, wing it yourself (it's not THAT tough to get basic pages going) or get a high school / college student to do it cheap. Another question to ask yourself might be... do I want to get into this deeper longterm? Or is it basically just you want this one site and that is that. Because there is an easy way and a right way to make a site, and there is nothing wrong with the easy way if it's just something you want to try out, per se, except that it is limited a bit and doesn't help you moving forward if you want to do more and more (or more complicated) sites in the future. I'd try to answer these questions before jumping into it right away. mrtom100 03-30-2009, 02:46 PM A good free web hosting company is http://byethost.com/ they are advert free and quite good for normal websites nothing to big like a shop.... andr105 03-31-2009, 05:05 AM You can find any freelancer.
