floating tooltip

Hi

I have a form.

In a table in the form, I have a row with two cells.

The left cell contains a label "User Id"
The right cell contains a text field to hold the user Id

I want to create a floating tooltip which becomes visible when the user's mouse hovers over the cell that contains the textfield.

Thanks for the link but this is far to elaborate for my requirements.

Does anyone have anything a bit simpler??
