Wonder if Javascript can ......

I don't know really anything about javascript and I need a little help. I have a script that gives a prompt when you first come to my homepage and askes for your name. It places your name and date in the title of the page and also where you spceify it to show up on the page. But I was wondering if there is something I could do to make it were if you go back to that page after going to another page in my site that it doesn't ask for your name again it keeps and keeps the information. Also, I was wondering if you could transfer the Name of the person and the date into the title bar of each of the other pages in my site.

This Helps me out alot thanks. But I need to know if there is a script that can take the information from the first script and put it on different web pages.

I'm Sorry I didn't look to hard at what the script was doing. I can usually understand whats going on but I just can't write the code. Sorry
