At first, the white background for the main content area seemed a bit much. I'm not 100% sure what I would do to make it look correct. I tried a white main background and then a colored one for the content area, but that wasn't working for me either. I wasn't 100% sold on having a lighter colored main background to offset the amount of white. I used a yellow(#8A391E) main background that seemed decent. I will most liekly end up changing the color of the content text to the standard black though.

I agree with you on the white feeling a little too strong. What if you narrowed the content area just a bit? I'm not sure changing the text to black would be the answer.

The white does not bother me that much, after a while it might. But I'm a young 15 year old with good eyesight .

You could change the white to something close to white, like #EFEFEF. I'm not sure how that would look with the rest of the colors, or if you want to get into anything grayish.

That's my two cents.

I think the font color does make reading the text a little hard. I'd suggest changing the font color to black and then try using a color like #FFFDE6 to replace the white bg.

I went and used a light shade of yellow since yellow is often used on paper to make it easier on the eyes. Anyway, thanks for the feedback.

Definitely looks much better.
