Request of help from a new girl!

I have been asked to develop a website primarily for the sharing of educational resources. i'm ok with database design, I'm fine wth HTML and static web design, just starting to learn ASP.
My question is what technology should I be looking at to enable users of the site to upload documents via a webpage ie similar to attaching a file to an email.

as you mentioned you are learning ASP,I'd guess you will beusing ASP for this purpose
