EXE Files

Is there ANY way to have jacascript open up and run a EXE file without having to download anything? Like if I have a folder with all the files needed to run and the exe file, can the javascript run it without needing to download it and the files?

not that i know your gona have to use an applet such as activex or something like that, which i have little knowledge of so cant really help you sorry
