hi i have validated this page and it comes up fine displaying picture attached

but when i validate my css all i get is this i have seen the icon on http://www.webdevfaqs.com/ so i know it is possible, any now why this is?

Your CSS is valid, as well. That is what no errors or warnings means... ;)

The icon does not automatically show up. What you need to do is copy the code from the W3C's site, and use that to show that your CSS is valid.
