Left domain or right domain... That's a question.

Recently I have purchased two domain names http://www.datency.com and http://www.datexy.com, and now I am having a real headache which one to use. Booth look quite good from different points of view. You guys are professionals. Could you please help me with you opinion and ideas. Highly appreciated ! Thanks.

What's the site for? The left sounds like some form of data latency company, whatever that is, or one of these other random companies that are probably shells with silly names. The right sounds like a gay dating site.

Well, as I said the right one sounds like a gay male dating site, if that's what you're going for then definitely that. The left I don't know what the "ncy" is for, I'm not even sure how you would pronounce it (though I guess that's good if you've going for an xkcd fan dating site...), but as you've not given much information, such as what the site is specifically targeting, or what your hook is, or even the name of the company, I can't really comment too much beyond what I've said already.

The obvious solution would have been to think about and discuss target markets before getting a domain. But in answer to your original question, the right seems better, but only in that it could be seen as relevant in some circumstances.

As I mentioned before it will be simple dating service -W4M, M4W, no any XXX or gay related. I type datexy faster and remember it better.... but datency is better pronounced also it's some kind of combination of "dating" and "agency". Still have no idea which one to choose... :cool:

U can choose domain either left or right name as Your wish.But the domain name is not to be vulgar.its have to related to Your website and U can buy the domain name with minimum cost in the site http www.domainsflip.com

Out of those two would say datexy.com and here's why:

First off, I have no idea what ncy is, looks like it's trying to capitalize on people mistyping nyc.

Second off, would make it a pro nerd dating site, Date X+Y, all girls = x, all guys = y (chromosome style). E.g. Browse X, Browse Y.

I thought the first one sounds like a techie site and the second one I couldn't say so don't know what is sounds like.

The domain name doens't really matter but if it's a dating site it has to be repeatable by word of mouth.

Something like NabbleMe.com would be way better IMO. Meaningless but easy to say, spell, remember and pass on.

"How did we meet? We were nabbled!"
