I personally choose the colors, and I think it looks good. Sometimes things just need another pair of eyes.

The ads are huge and very distracting... and kind of placed in the center of my view... if I were to glance at it for a second I'd think it were one of those pages they put up when your domain expires and gets parked =(

Yeah, I can see where you are coming from. I joined a banner exchange in hopes of getting more traffic my way. So far its not working that well.

When you select other buttons Home remains selected. id="current" should be switched to the button corresponding with the current page. Why keep the welcome message on all pages?
