Hi and TIA for your help. I'm using Flash CS3. In the Publish Settings -> Flash tab, it looks like the default settings are:
Version: Flash Player 7
ActionScript version: ActionScript 1.0

I wonder why those are not the latest versions. Do you recommend otherwise, and instead publishing to Version: Flash Player 9 (the latest available in the pull-down menu), and ActionScript version: ActionScript 2.0?

You should always save in the lowest version that supports all the features/effects in your movie. There's no reason to require Flash Player 10 if your movie is just a few motion tweens ;)

I believe Flash will automatically suggest the lowest version you can save in without losing any functionality.
