I am very unsatisfied with the church page I created. It has all the content in it that the church requested to be there; however, it is accomplished in a very inefficient way. I was the site to be an enjoyable experience that people will want to come look at. I know the coolest sites use flash and/or server side languages, but I've barely tipped the iceberg on those things. I can read javascript (enough to borrow codes anyhow), but I can't write it. My CSS is still of a designing level and not a dynamic level.

What could I do with this site to increase the viewing audience? I'll take layout opinions, coding opinions, ideas of things that can be added, scripts that would make something cool happen, anything. I just want this site to actually be useful. Right now, it is only useful if at all to people who know nothing about the church. I want it to be good for members and non members. Anywho.. that's my splurge. Here's the link:

Put more content (as in upcoming events, or info. about how an event went) on the homepage. Right now, it looks like a billboard, which isn't inviting.

think it would look better if the service times were taken away from the front? I never liked them there but I was asked to put them there

Keep them on there, but not in the main content area - perhaps along the side.
