Ok when using an image to go behind text. Usually its a thin image, and I will use repeat-x to make it stretch across.

The image has an outline on all 4 sides.

Its ok when text is right across but when the tex become too many different lines, the text escapes the image.

What do I do to fix this?

The "!" represents the border of the image, and its not coming out right on forum but hope it helps give an understanding of my problem.

Where you have "repeat-x" change it to "repeat". That will repeat both horizontally and vertically.

When I did this it stopped working altogteher :-(
