[Flash AS2] Preloading multiple external images

Hello,

I am currently building an mp3 player with a little screen which displays some images in a certain order. Everything is loaded in through XML.

I would like to preload those images together with my main movie (using the same preloader bar), so the images can be used later.

How would i accomplish this? I searched a great deal on both here and the web, but i have been unable to find a good tutorial for this matter.
I am using AS2.
