Hi everyone,
I am currently trying to integrate the HSBC CPI Payment system into a website and I am completely lost by the instructions they have issued. I have now spoken to 4 or 5 staff on their helpline who have actually told me THEY don't know what some of the things mean, which is quite worrying. So I am posting here in the hope SOMEONE has dealt with this before and can point me in the right direction!
Anyway I'm a web designer, I'll admit I'm not much of a coder beyond HTML and implementing PHP scripts but usually I can find my way through these things with the step-by-step instructions they come with.
I'm shocked at how difficult it actually is as it seems my client was sold the system being told "You just get a piece of code that you can add to your site". So they seem to be selling to to anyone under the pretense that they can implement themselves in a matter of minutes!
I don't usually deal with SSL certificates either but it seems as they are hosted on fasthosts they get free SSL webspace, but on their shared servers which is also proving a bit complicated too.
If anyone can give me guidance on integrating this system, or give me a link to a decent set of setup instructions, then it would be very, very much appreciated.
Many thanks,
Laurie
