hi all,
i am studying web programming, and I would like to know how long do u spend per day with your computers. What are your ressources?
How do u manage trying understanding codes like Javascript?
Thank you for your time and hope to have gentle replies.
Well, I'll have a go, maybe my answers will help you...
1. I spend most of my day (and sometimes, most the night) at my computer, but...It's my job. :)
2. I use the following programs:
a. Macromedia Dreamweaver
b. Microsoft FrontPage
c. Macromedia Flash
d. Macromedia Fireworks
e. Jasc Paint Shop Pro
f. WS_FTP Pro
g. etc...
3. See answer 1. :D But seriously, it just takes time and patience. A few good books would help you, too.
I don't know if this will help you out at all, but there you go!

Thanks Pyro.
When you say 'I spend most of my day (and sometimes, most the night) at my computer, but...It's my job', do u mean that it is non-stop?
I use a lot the computer, around 4 hours per day, but then, I have my eyes burning and scratching. How can you handle this?

hitman, maybe if you sat a little further away from the computer your eyes would feel better, but I don't know.
I spend mostly all the free time I have on the computer. That is about usually 2 hrs. a day on the internet and about 30 min. to 1 hr. just on the computer. I do not use any programs. To study a language, I can look at the code and usually figure out what the program will do, even if I don't know the language. To actually learn a language, I read books. Books I would recommend are the Sams in 21 days books.

Also, I'm kinda on and off. If I notice myself getting tired, I get up and do something else for a while, but yes, I spend a lot of time in front of a computer. Today, I've probably logged 8 - 10 hrs. Some days more, some less.
I'm with Zach on the learning. Just looking at others code is very helpful to me. Also I've got a lot of books.

many thanks for the suggestions, you both. I think I should exit from these multiple open games and start putting my head in web programming.
Won't be easy!!:p
