Hi,
I's somewhat of an amatuer at this website development lark ~ having only got into it by being mug enough to sort something out for our church! But anyway this free web design has led to me getting a paid job to develop a site for one of the people in the church...
which is fine, and i am pootling my way through it....
but when i first agreed to this i knew which web hoster i would use... unfortunately lycos have gone bust... and the company that they recommended everyone too is a nightmare! which i can manage for the church website but this paid job requires me training a couple of people in the company to be able to keep news and events on the site updated...
which means that i need a web hoster that is very user friendly!!!

but also that has good online page editing services... all of which i did have on lycos, but i think i just lucked out with them... and i haven't got the foggiest where to start looking! I've also only got a budget of £150-200 for the domain name and hosting so it can't be too extortionate...

I hope this makes sense and doesn't go against the regs... obviously if you can't list hosters can you give me some ideas what to search for!

many many thanks
