Website Production Guide... Anyone?

Has anyone written a Website Production Guide before or links to a sample? Need some ideas to start...

i have never seen a real guide to building a website... but it just so happens i am actually working on one right now to go on kidscript(www.kidscript.com) <- the site isnt up yet so dont bother going there. you'll get an intro page and thats it.<-

but even the one i am making isnt going to cover everything... that'd be impossible. What it will do is it will cover the major areas of site design, search engine submission, advertising, standards compliant code, layout suggestions,.. ect. it isnt going to be one specific guide. you will have to already know a little about what ur trying to do... it will just tell you how to do it right=P

but i dont think there is or ever will be a "guide to website production" because that is simply way to large a target. there are tutorials on how to code, what you should do, ect. but none actually are a fullscale everything in one package. that'd be way to much information. you gotta go find out what u wanna make, how you want it to look, then search for tutorials on HOW to MAKE what YOU want.
